Keynote: Professor Michael Fenech, University of South Australia

on his career journey and advice for early career scientists

This event will be the launch of the

Dr Eleanor Wilde Memorial Award
Dr Eleanor (Ellie) Wilde studied for her PhD in genetic toxicology at Swansea University before starting a postdoctoral position  at King’s College London. During this time, she  was a talented member of NUKEMS and UKEMS and is dearly missed. This year we are launching a talk prize in her memory, sponsored by her family and UKEMS. This prize will provide a conference attendance bursary; travelling to conferences and expanding her knowledge and network at these was something Ellie greatly enjoyed.
To present within this session, and for the opportunity to win this prize, you must be a new investigator within UKEMS (i.e., a UKEMS member with up to 6 years of post-doctoral experience or equivalent) and submit your abstract here or email to us (guidance below) by the 30th July 2021.

Join our virtual poster session!

During this session, you will have the opportunity to present your work, discuss your poster and take questions live or via chat.

Anyone within the UKEMS remit can submit an abstract to present a poster and New Investigators will be eligible to win poster prizes.

Submit your abstract here or email it to us (guidance below) by the 30th July 2021.
